The poset of positive roots and its relatives (Q2492815): Difference between revisions

In this paper the author studies combinatorial properties of several posets associated with a subsystem of positive roots in a reduced irreducible root system. A special attention is paid to the edges of the Hasse diagrams of these posets. It turns out that there is a natural notion of a \textit{type} for such edges. The type is either a simple root or an affine simple root, depending on the poset one is interested in. The author computes explicitly the number of edges in the Hasse diagram of the poset of all abelian ideas, as well as the number of edges of each type in this poset.
