The authors are interested in a long-time dynamics of a two-dimensional non-autonomous micropolar fluid motion in a smooth bounded domain \(\Omega\subset\mathbb R^2\): \[ \partial_t v+v\cdot\nabla v+\nabla p-(\nu+\kappa)\Delta v-2\kappa \nabla\times w=f(t,x), \] \[ \partial_t w+v\cdot\nabla w-\gamma\Delta w-2\kappa\nabla\times v+ 4\kappa w=g(t,x), \] \[ \text{div}\,v=0, \] \[ v|_{\partial\Omega}=0, w|_{\partial\Omega}=0. \] Here \(v(t,x)\), \(w(t,x)\) and \(p(t,x)\) denote, respectively, the velocity vector, the scalar gyration and the pressure of the fluid at the point \(x\in\Omega\Subset\mathbb{R}^2\) at the moment \(t\in \mathbb{R}\); \(\nu>0\) is the kinetic viscosity, \(\kappa\geq0\) and \(\gamma>0\) are the gyration viscosities; \(f\) is the body force, \(g\) is the external gyration. The goal of the authors is to show the existence of a compact pullback attractor in \((H^1(\Omega))^3\) when the right-hand side (non-autonomous) is translation bounded with respect to \((L^2(\Omega))^3\).
