    Soit \(G\) un groupe compact. Les auteurs prouvent que tout \(G\)-ANR a le type de \(G\)-homotopie d'un \(G\)-CW complexe. Il en résulte que si \(f:X\to Y\) est une fonction continue \(G\)-équivariante entre \(G\)-ANR, alors \(f\) est une équivalence \(G\)-homotopique si, et seulement si, pour tout sous-groupe fermé \(H\subset G\), la restriction \(f^H:X^H\to Y^H\) est une équivalence homotopique ordinaire, où \(X^H\) et \(Y^H\) désignent l'ensemble des points de \(X\) et \(Y\) respectivement qui sont fixés par \(H\).
