Wave front set at infinity for tempered ultradistributions and hyperbolic equations (Q2465916): Difference between revisions

The paper deals with the Cauchy problem associated to an SG-hyperbolic pseudo-differential operator. More precisely, the author discusses well posedness for such problems and the related propagation of singularities as well as the microlocal behaviour of solutions as \(| x| \to \infty\). To this end, an appropriate notion of wave front set at infinity for tempered ultradistributions is developed. Moreover, the author completes his previous results obtained in [Tsukuba J. Math. 28, No. 2, 311--361 (2004; Zbl 1079.35108)] about well posedness of the considered problem.
