In this paper, a degree theory is constructed for weakly compact mappings \(T:\overline{\varOmega}\to 2^{E^{*}}\) of class \((S_{+})\), where \(\varOmega\) is a bounded open set in the separable bidual space \(E^{**}\) of a real Banach space \(E\), by using a technique from \textit{J.\,Andres} and \textit{L.\,Gorniewicz} [Fixed Point Theory 7, No.\,2, 191--199 (2006; Zbl 1118.47051)].
