For locally constant cocycle defined on an aperiodic subshift, \textit{D. Damanik} and \textit{D. Lenz} proved that if the subshift satisfies a certain condition (B) [Duke Math. J. 133, No. 1, 95--123 (2006; Zbl 1118.37009); \textit{D. Lenz} [Commun. Math. Phys. 227, No. 1, 119--130 (2002; Zbl 1065.47035)], then the cocycle is uniform. In their series paper [Ann. Henri Poincaré 12, No. 1, 153--172 (2011; Zbl 1211.81059)], the authors considered the situation of simple Toeplitz subshift. Now in this paper, they study bounded Toeplitz subshift with new tools, that is, key Lemma 3.2 [\textit{A. Furman}, Ann. Inst. Henri Poincaré, Probab. Stat. 33, No. 6, 797--815 (1997; Zbl 0892.60011)]. Let \((\Omega, T)\) be a subshift over a finite alphabet \(\mathcal{A} \subset \mathbb{R}\). Assume \(\pi :\Omega \rightarrow \mathbb{R}\) is the projection map defined by \(\pi(\omega)=\omega(0)\). For any \(E \in \mathbb{R}\) define a function \(M^{E} :\Omega \rightarrow SL(2, \mathbb{R})\) by \[ M^{E}(\omega):= \left( \begin{matrix} E-\pi(T\omega) & -1 \\ 1 & 0 \end{matrix} \right). \] The main theorem of this paper is {Theorem 1.1} Let \((\Omega_{\beta}, T)\) be a bounded Toeplitz subshift. Let \(M^{E}\) be defined as above. Then, \(M^{E}\) is uniform for every \(E \in \mathbb{R}\). A direct application of the main theorem is the Theorem 1.2 of this paper. To prove the main theorem, they firstly prove {Lemma 3.1} The limit \(\gamma(E):= \lim_{k\rightarrow \infty} \frac{\ln ||M^{E}(s_{k}, \beta)||}{s_{k}}\) exists. Then the prove of the main theorem separate into two parts. For the case \(\gamma(E)=0\), Lemma 3.2 do the job; for the hard case \(\gamma(E) \neq 0\) which is the statement of Lemma 3.5, the proof occupies the Section 4. In comparison to the Condition B, this paper also give some new sufficient condition for the uniform convergence of \(M^{E}\) (Lemma 3.3, Lemma 3.4).
