The theory of Hausdorff operators was started with the method of Hausdorff summability initiated by Hurwitz and Silverman in 1917. It has many important applications in various fields of analysis such as real analysis, Fourier analysis and complex analysis. In the last decade, a lot of papers focus on the Hausdorff operator and its varieties. The paper under review deals with two multilinear fractional Hausdorff operators \(R_{\Phi,\,\vec{\beta}}\) and \(S_{\Phi,\,\beta}\), which include the multilinear Hausdorff operators from [\textit{J. C. Chen} et al., Acta Math. Sin., Engl. Ser. 28, No. 8, 1521--1530 (2012; Zbl 1261.42035)] and the multilinear Hardy operators from [\textit{Z. Fu} et al., Houston J. Math. 38, No. 1, 225--244 (2012; Zbl 1248.42020)] as special cases. Precisely, by a method different from the ones in the above two references, the authors establish some weak and strong type estimates for \(R_{\Phi,\,\vec{\beta}}\) and \(S_{\Phi,\,\beta}\) on Lebesgue spaces. Moreover, some results on \(S_{\Phi,\,\beta}\) recover the results obtained by \textit{S. Lu} et al. [J. Inequal. Appl. 2013, Article ID 148, 11 p. (2013; Zbl 1284.26022)].
