A Diophantine \(m\)-tuple is a set of \(m\) distinct integers such that the product of any two is one less than a perfect square. It is conjectured that there are no Diophantine \(5\)-tuples, and known that there are at most finitely many. In this paper, it is proved that there are at most \(2.3 \times 10^{29}\) Diophantine \(5\)-tuples, improving on previous estimates.
