In this paper the author considers the Vlasov/Navier-Stokes equations with density dependent viscosity coefficients, which models the moderately thick sprays where the volume fraction of the particles has to be considered together with collision effects between particles. Under suitable assumptions on the drag forcing term, particle interaction operator, the initial data and viscosity coefficients, the finite time blowup is proved for classical solutions to the Cauchy problem of such equations. The analogous results are obtained for other related systems such us isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations, two-phase fluid equations.
