Dedekind sums, which arise from the holomorphic Dedekind eta function under the fractional linear transformations of the modular group, have many applications in the theory of the analytic number theory, pure and applied algebra, complex analysis and their applications, and in other areas. In this article, the author studies applications of modular forms of real weights and generalized Dedekind symbols to their reciprocity law from iterated period integrals. The author also studies Dedekind cocycles from cusp forms of real weights. In this article many results and relations, including Dedekind sums, Dedekind cocycles, and reciprocity laws are given by the author.
