Nonhomogeneous dual wavelet frames in \(L^2(\mathbb{R}^+)\) and their properties are studied in this article. Equivalence of nonhomogeneous dual wavelet frames between different scale levels are proved in first result. In the result, it is shown that a nonhomogeneous dual wavelet frame produces a homogeneous dual wavelet frame. A necessary and sufficient condition, under which a Bessel sequence leads to a nonhomogeneous dual wavelet frame, is given. Construction of nonhomogeneous dual wavelet frames from a pair of general refinable functions is considered and a result in this regard is obtained.
