The paper deals with the multiplicity of nontrivial solutions for the following nonlocal semilinear Tricomi equation in a symmetric admissible Tricomi domain \(\Omega\): \[ Tu=-yu_{xx}-u_{yy}=Rf(u), \] where \(Tu=-y\partial ^{2}u_{x}-\partial ^{2}u_{y}\) is the Tricomi operator, \(R\) is the reflection operator induced with the map \(\Phi(x,y) =(-x,y)\), and \(f(u)\) is an asymptotically linear term such that \(f(u)=0\). By considering a special boundary condition the authors show that, if the nonlinearity ``interacts'' with the spectrum of the inverse operator \(K=(RT^{-1}_{AC}) \), where \(T^{-1}_{AC}\) is the reflected Tricomi operator, the boundary value problem has at least two nontrivial solutions. The result is obtained utilizing the dual variational methods combined with some results related with the existence of distinct critical points.
