An irreducible holomorphic symplectic (IHS) manifold is a compact Kähler simply connected manifold with a unique (up to a scalar) closed non-degenerate holomorphic two-form. In this paper the authors construct a new $20$-dimensional family of polarized IHS sixfolds of $K3^{[3]}$-type. The elements of this family are double covers of special codimension-three subvarieties of the Grassmannian $G(3,6)$. The codimension-three subvarieties are constructed similarly to EPW sextics as Lagrangian degeneracy loci, and therefore the authors call them EPW cubes. The authors show that the moduli space of polarized IHS sixfolds of $K3^{[3]}$-type with Beauville-Bogomolov degree $4$ and divisibility $2$ is unirational.
