The paper under review provides an inductive algorithm that computes the action of simple reflections on a subset of basis vectors of the top Borel-Moore homology of the conformal variety associated to the symmetric pair \((\mathrm{Sp}(2n),\mathrm{GL}(n))\). For this, the author uses characteristic cycles to transfer information about the action of the Weyl group on the Grothendieck group of certain highest weight Harish-Chandra modules, which is effectively computable, to information about the action of the Weyl group on Borel-Moore homology.
