The Bloch conjecture states that the group of rational equivalence classes of zero cycles of degree zero is trivial for surfaces with geometric genus zero. It has been proved for all surfaces not of general type, and recently for several families of surfaces of general type. In this paper the authors consider generalized Burniat type surfaces. These are minimal surfaces of general type with \(\chi({\mathcal O})=1\) and \(K^2=6\) recently constructed by the authors and F. Catanese. They form \(16\) families, and \(4\) of them are composed by surfaces of geometric genus zero. More precisely generalized Burniat type surfaces with geometric genus zero form \(4\) irreducible components of the Gieseker moduli space of surfaces of general type. In this paper the authors prove that Bloch's conjecture holds for all surfaces in these four families. The proof is based on the method of \textit{enough automorphisms} introduced by \textit{H. Inose} and \textit{M. Mizukami} [Math. Ann. 244, 205--217 (1979; Zbl 0444.14006)], refined by \textit{R. Barlow} [Invent. Math. 79, 303--308 (1985; Zbl 0584.14002)] and then simplified by the first author [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 142, No. 10, 3335--3342 (2014; Zbl 1325.14021)].
