In this paper a unified approach to different results concerning group actions and integrable systems in symplectic, Poisson and contact manifolds is presented. It is divided into three sections: the symplectic, contact and Poisson ones. After a brief introduction in Section 2 a recompilation of results about symplectic realisation of singular Lagrangian foliations defined by integrable systems is considered. In this also re-state Elliasson's theorem using the foliation defined by the Hamiltonian vector fields. This formulation is neccessary due to hyperbolic singularities. In this section are also described some applications of action-angle coordinates to the context of geometric quantization. Further, some results of rigidity of group actions with symplectic linearisation results was interconnected to obtain structural stability of the foliation. Section 3 contains a result about equivalence with the so-called ``linear model'' for integrable systems in the contact case. Complete proofs of contact equivalence with contact models are included here too. Section 4 contains results about action-angle coordinates for integrable systems and rigidity for Hamiltonian actions on Poisson manifolds. In this section are also presented new examples of integrable systems in the Poisson context and it is shown that regular integrable systems on Poisson manifolds are not always rigid.
