The paper under review studies the Lie theoretic properties of a class of topological groups which carry a Banach manifold structure but whose multiplication is not smooth (on one of the sides). The paper shows that these groups share many properties with classical Banach-Lie groups. In particular, it is shown that, given Banach-Lie groups \(G\) and \(N\) and a continuous action \(\pi:G\rightarrow \mathrm{Aut}(N)\), the corresponding semi-direct product half-Lie group is \(R\)-regular and has both the Trotter property and the strong Trotter property.
