    The authors consider so-called Cantor-Moran measures which are defined as follows. Let \(\{p_n\}_{n=1}^\infty\) be a sequence of integers greater than one and let \(\mathcal{D}_{n=1}^\infty\) be a sequence of finite digit sets in \(\mathbb Z\). Let \(P_n := \prod\limits_{i=1}^n p_i\) and associate to the sequence \(\{p_n, \mathcal{D}_n\}_{n=1}^\infty\) a Borel probability measure \(\mu_{\{p_n\},\{\mathcal{D}_n\}}\) defined by \[ \mu_{\{p_n\},\{\mathcal{D}_n\}} := \underset{n = 1}{\overset{\infty}{\ast}}\delta_{P_n^{-1}\mathcal{D}_n}, \] where \(\delta_E := \frac{1}{\# E}\,\sum\limits_{e\in E} \delta_e\). The main result presented in this paper is the following: Let \(\{p_n, \mathcal{D}_n\}_{n=1}^\infty\) be a sequence of integers with \(0< d_n< p_n\), for all \(n\in \mathbb{N}\). If \(2 \,|\, \frac{p_n}{\gcd(d_n,p_n)}\) for all \(n\in \mathbb{N}\) then the Cantor-Moran measure \(\mu_{\{p_n\},\{\mathcal{D}_n\}}\) defined above is a spectral measure.
