This paper is concerned with the mathematical analysis of positive solutions for a class of nonlinear Dirichlet elliptic equations driven by the \((p,q)\)-Laplace operator. The reaction is the sum of a singular term and a nonlinearity with \((p-1)\)-asymptotic growth at infinity. In the first part of this paper, the authors establish a bifurcation-type property. Next, they are concerned with the solution multifunction and its continuity properties. The qualitative properties of the minimal solution are established in the final part of this paper. The paper is very well written and it gives an important contribution to the mathematical analysis of double-phase problems.
