In the recent past the study of \(n\)-dimensional spherical wavelet transforms has attracted growing attention. The aim of this paper is to serve a building stone for the construction of frames of specific types. Motivated by theories developed for 2-dimensional spherical wavelets, a similar construction for semi-continuous frames has been given. However the main theorem talks about the existence of fully discrete frames using conditions of localization of the reproducing kernel of the wavelet transform. The proof of this theorem is well explained. Later on a sufficient condition for the existence of discrete wavelet frames is given with the help of the notion of hyperbolic density of a grid. The last part is an interesting study of Poisson wavelet frames. It is shown that Poisson wavelets can yield discrete frames using the result obtained in the previous section. Some estimations in the form of corollaries are also discussed. In the end, a comment on the discretization method for frames of Mexican needlets is given. | |||
