The main aim of the paper is to study several basic properties of nonlinear vector-valued weighted pseudo almost automorphic functions, including equivalence, completeness, translation invariance, composition theorem, and convolution theorem of some semilinear evolution equations. The basics results of this paper is just a consequence of [\textit{J. Blot} et al., Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl., Ser. A, Theory Methods 75, No. 4, 2426--2447 (2012; Zbl 1248.43004)]. In fact, Theorem 2.1 can be deduced from Theorem 2.20 of [loc. cit.] by taking \(\rho_1\) and \(\rho_2\) respectively like the Radon-Nikodym derivative of measures \(\mu_1\) and \(\mu_2\), i.e. \[ \rho_1(t)=\frac{d\mu_1(t)}{dt}\text{ and }\rho_2(t)=\frac{d\mu_2(t)}{dt} \] with \(\mu_1\) equivalent to \(\mu_2\).
