The main results of the paper realize an important step towards solving the Volume Conjecture for the Reshetikhin-Turaev invariants of \(3\)-manifolds by finding a certain potential function \(\Phi_D\) coming from the colored Jones polynomial of the link to the volume of the hyperbolic cone structure on the complement of the link with cone angles determined by the extra parameters of the colored Jones polynomials. More precisely, the author obtains the following results. \textbf{Main Theorem 1} Let \(D\) be a digram of a hyperbolic link and let \(M_{\boldsymbol\alpha}\) be the complement of the link with a hyperbolic cone structure with dihedral angles along the link determined by \(\boldsymbol\alpha.\) For a fixed \(\boldsymbol\alpha,\) let \(\boldsymbol\sigma(\boldsymbol\alpha)\) be a critical point of \(\Phi_D(\boldsymbol \alpha, -).\) Then the hyperbolic volume of \(M_{\boldsymbol\alpha}\) is equal to the imaginary part of \[ \widetilde\Phi_D=\Phi_D-\sum_jw_j\frac{\partial \Phi_D}{\partial w_j}\log w_j \] evaluated at \(\mathbf w=\boldsymbol\sigma(\boldsymbol\alpha).\) \textbf{Main Theorem 2} The point \((\mathbf 1,\boldsymbol{\alpha}(\mathbf 1))\) is a saddle point of the function \(\Phi_D\) and gives the complete hyperbolic structure of the link complement.
