The author refines his methods from [\textit{F. Eisele}, J. Algebra 356, No. 1, 90-114 (2012; Zbl 1276.16008)] to prove the following main result. Let \(O\) be a 2-adic complete discrete valuation ring that is large enough and denote by \(k\) its residue field. Let \(G\) and \(H\) be finite groups, \(\Lambda\) resp. \(\Gamma\) blocks of \(OG\) resp. \(OH\) whose defect groups are both isomorphic to the generalised quaternion group \(Q_{2^n}\), such that \(\Lambda\) and \(\Gamma\) both contain exactly 3 simple modules. Then \(\Lambda\) and \(\Gamma\) are derived equivalent. Moreover \(\Lambda\) and \(\Gamma\) are Morita-equivalent if and only if \(k\otimes\Lambda\) and \(k\otimes\Gamma\) are Morita-equivalent. One example of such a block \(\Lambda\) is the principal block of \(O\mathrm{SL}_2(q)\) for \(q\equiv 3\pmod 4\). During the proof of the main result, the author also determines the group of perfect self-isometries of this block.
