In this paper three classes of rings are considered: Hibi rings, stable set rings and edge rings. These classes are studied from the point of view of class groups. The authors prove that the class groups of stable set rings of perfect graphs and edge rings satisfying the odd cycle condition are torsion free. Moreover they give a chacterization of the rings of the three classes whose class groups are \(\mathbb{Z}\) or \(\mathbb{Z}^2\).
