This article discusses properties of solutions to the Liouville equation \((-\Delta)^n u=e^u\) in \(\mathbb{R}^{2n}\) for \(n=1,2\). Such solutions are assumed to have infinite volume, that is, \(\int_{\mathbb{R}^{2n}}e^u =\infty\). For \(n=1\) the author proves that the Liouville equation admits solutions \(u_{k,\varepsilon}\) in the form \( u_{k, \varepsilon}(x,y)=\log(2\mathrm{sech} (x))+\varepsilon\mathrm{sech}(x)\cos(\pi k y)+O(\varepsilon^2), \) where \(k\) is a non-negative integer and \(\varepsilon\) is small. For \(n=2\) it is proved that the Liouville equation admits a solution \(u(x_1,x_2,x_3,x_4)\) which decays to \(-\infty\) at most linearly in the variables \((x_1,x_2,x_3)\) and is periodic in the \(x_4\) variable.
