After an excellent introduction setting the context, the authors present many nice results about epireflections, particularly in relation to subspaces and products. They characterize when an epireflection preserves subspaces and show that the \(T_0\)-reflection does. They show that an epireflective functor applied to a category of semitopological structures gives an epireflective subspace. If \(\mathcal{C}\) and \(\mathcal{E}\) are epireflective subcategories of \(\mathbf{Top}\) with \(\mathcal{E \subseteq C} \subseteq \mathbf{Top}_0\), they give a simple characterization of when the \(\mathcal{C}\)-reflection of \(X\) equals the \(\mathcal{E}\)-reflection of \(X\). They characterize when the \(T_1\)-reflection of a topological space \(X\) equals the \(T_{3.5}\)-reflection of \(X\). Several other more technical results are also given.
