A Baer cotorsion pair \((A,B)\) is a pair of classes of Abelian groups with the following properties. The class \(A\) consists of torsion-free groups, while the class \(B\) consists of torsion groups. For every \(X\) of \(A\) and \(Y\) of \(B\), the group \(\text{Ext}(X,Y)\) is trivial. The classes \(A\) and \(B\) are maximal with these properties. The classes \(A\) and \(B\) are called the `cotorsion-free' class and the `cotorsion' class of the Baer cotorsion pair, respectively. This article mainly considers Baer cotorsion pairs cogenerated by a class of torsion-free rank-one groups, which are called `completely decomposable' Baer cotorsion pairs. Some sample results: (Corollary 3.5) a characterization of the cotorsion classes of completely decomposable Baer cotorsion pairs by closure properties. (Theorem 3.9) Every Baer cotorsion pair cogenerated by a torsion-free finite-rank group is also cogenerated by a torsion-free rank-one group. (Theorem 5.3) The power set of a set of continuum cardinality is a sublattice of the lattice of completely decomposable Baer cotorsion pairs. Under Gödel's constructibility axiom \(V=L\), it is shown that the lattice of all Baer cotorsion pairs is isomorphic to the direct product of the power set of prime numbers and the lattice of ideals of this power set containing all finite subsets (Theorem 5.5). -- The hard work for all the results has been done in earlier papers, this article just draws the consequences.
