    The authors study the universal behaviour of multipliers on the space \(\mathcal{H(\mathbb{C})}\) of entire functions endowed with the compact open topology. Given a sequence \(\{\gamma _k\}\subset\mathbb{C},\) they consider the multiplier operator \(T:\mathcal{H(\mathbb{C})} \rightarrow \mathcal{H(\mathbb{C})}\) defined for every \(f(z):=\sum_{k=0}^{\infty} a_k z^k \in \mathcal{H(\mathbb{C})}\) as \((Tf)(z):=\sum_{k=0}^{\infty} \gamma _k a_k z^k\). The following theorem is the main result of the paper. Theorem. Let \(T\) be the multiplier operator associated with a sequence \(\{\gamma _k\}\subset\mathbb {C}^{\ast}\) which satisfies \(\lim_{k \to \infty}|\gamma _k|=\infty\) and \(\limsup _{k\to \infty}|\gamma _k|^{1/k} < \infty\). Let \(K\subset \mathbb{C}\) be a nonempty compact set with connected complement and \(0 \notin K.\) Let \(p\) be a polynomial and let \(\varepsilon, R >0.\) Then there exists \(N \in \mathbb{N}\) such that for each \(n\geq N\): 1. There exists a polynomial \(h_1\) such that \(\| T^nh_1 - p\|_{K} < \varepsilon\) and \(\|h_1\|^{}_{B(0,R)}<\varepsilon\). 2. There exists a polynomial \(h_2\) such that \(\| T^nh_2 \|_{K} < \varepsilon\) and \(\|h_2-p\|^{}_{B(0,R)}<\varepsilon .\) Combining the two statements of the main theorem, the authors obtain the following fact. Corollary. Let \(T\) be the multiplier operator associated with a sequence \(\{\gamma _k\}\subset\mathbb {C}^{\ast}\) which satisfies \(\lim_{k \to \infty}|\gamma _k|=\infty\) and \(\limsup _{k\to \infty}|\gamma _k|^{1/k} < \infty\). Let \(L, K\subset \mathbb{C}\) be non-empty compact sets with connected complements, and let \(0 \notin K\). Let \(f \in \mathcal{A}(L)\), \(g \in \mathcal{A}(K)\), and \(\varepsilon >0\). Then there exists \(N \in \mathbb{N}\) such that, for all \(n\geq N\), there is an entire function \(h\) such that \(\| h - f\|^{}_{L} < \varepsilon\) and \(\| T^nh -g \|^{}_{K} < \varepsilon\).
