In Section 2 some known results about dynamical systems are generalized to non-degenerate lower-dimensional tori. The bifurcations occur at tori with multiple eigenvalues on the imaginary axis. In Section 3, the frequency-halving and quasi-periodic pitchfork bifurcations are studied, the tori themselves persist and only the normal linear behavior changes. During the quasi-periodic center-saddle bifurcation of Section 4 the elliptic and hyperbolic tori that meet at parabolic tori case to exist. In the encluding Section 5 these bifurcations are put into context.
