Let \(P\) be a polynomial endofunctor. A monoidal structure on the category of finite sets indexed by \(P\)-trees is constructed, with the help of the free monad on \(P\); the Burnside semi-ring of this monodial category gives a version based on operadic trees of the Connes-Kreimer bialgebra of rooted trees. Indications to obtain the ``usual'' Connes-Kreimer bialgebra are also given.
