The aim of the paper is to study the existence of a unique mild solution of the semilinear fractional differential equation with delay \[ D^{\alpha} u(t)= Au(t) + \int_{-\infty}^t a(t- s)Au(s)ds + f(t, u(t)) \] in which \(A\) is a closed linear operator defined on a Banach space, \(a\) is an integrable function and \(f\) is a member of a closed subspace of the space of continuous and bounded functions. The author proves that if \(f\) is almost periodic or almost automorphic and satisfies a Lipschitz condition, so it is a unique mild solution. To this end, the author first considers the linear case and then using Banach's fixed point theorem, gives sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of a mild solutions with above mentioned properties.
