The main purpose of the present paper is to give a description of Lie \(n\)-derivations on a unital algebra \(\mathcal A\) having the property \[ exe\cdot e\mathcal Af=\{0\}=f\mathcal Ae\cdot exe\text{ implies }exe=0, \] \[ e\mathcal Af\cdot fxf=\{0\}=fxf\cdot f\mathcal Ae\text{ implies }fxf=0, \] where this property was introduced by \textit{D. Benkovič} and \textit{N. Širovnik} [Linear Algebra Appl. 437, No. 9, 2271-2284 (2012; Zbl 1258.16042)]. Some specific examples of unital algebras with nontrivial idempotents having the property are triangular algebras, matrix algebras, and prime algebras with nontrivial idempotents. The author proves that under certain conditions every Lie \(n\)-derivation \(\varphi\) on \(\mathcal A\) is of the form \(\varphi=d+\delta+\tau\), where \(d\) is a derivation, \(\delta\) is both a singular Jordan derivation and an antiderivation, and \(\gamma\) is a central linear map, which vanishes on \(p_n(\mathcal A,\mathcal A,\ldots,\mathcal A)\). As a consequence the author obtains a new description of Lie triple derivations on \(\mathcal A\). As an application of the main result the author obtains a description of Lie \(n\)-derivations of unital algebras with wide idempotents, where in the main theorem the author adopts the style organized in a series of claims with some properties of derivations. I think this is a good way to deal with the proofs in more clarity, and as an application of Theorem 2.1 (which is considered the main result of the paper), he gives Theorem 3.1 on matrix algebras with two corollaries. Finally the author closes his paper by list of references. I find the paper carries on other researchers who do work in the same area with strong results and applications by using suitable technical proofs and I think the paper would become good if the author adds examples of the important concepts which appear in the main results.
