By using some special techniques (e.g., the rotation number, the Conley-Zehnder index, invariants of Reeb orbits, the Ruelle invariant), the following fundamental result is proved: Theorem. There exist dynamically convex contact forms on the sphere \(S^3\) that are not convex. The construction of examples of such dynamically convex contact forms on \(S^3\) is presented.
