Calculating the volume of polyhedra in non-Euclidean (hyperbolic and spherical) spaces is an old and also difficult problem. An elementary formula for volume of non-Euclidean simplices is still unknown. The article tries to determine Schlafli's differential formula based only on edge lengths of an arbitrary tetrahedron in 3-dimensional hyperbolic and spherical spaces. There is presented an elementary integral formula for the volume of a hyperbolic tetrahedron, expressed in terms of geometric quantities depending on the edge lengths. This formula is combinatorial in nature and is based solely on edge lengths, using the edge matrix with some submatrix, and also does not use Lobachevski or dilogarthmic functions. The formula is suitable for implementation on a computer.
