The authors study the motion of a transonic shock solution to the 2D Euler system of compressible inviscid flows in a finite porous nozzle, for mixed boundary conditions: supersonic incoming flow condition at the entrance, pressure condition at the end. Moreover the lower part of the nozzle boundary is solid but the upper part admits leakage. They prove the well posedness of the problem provided an appropriate seapage discharge is given. They also get the shock position by solving a free-boundary problem.
