Effective equidistribution for closed orbits of semisimple groups on homogeneous spaces (Q1022340)

The authors present a polynomially effective version of a relation concerning Haar measures under the assumptions of semisimple real Lie groups. In explicit terms, it is showed that the Haar measure on a closed \(H\)-orbit is close to the Haar measure on a closed \(S\)-orbit for a closed subgroup \(S\) containing the semisimple subgroup \(H\) of a real Lie group \(G\).
