It is argued that the definition of a fuzzy semiprimary, a fuzzy primary and a fuzzy prime ideal as introduced by the author in earlier papers bears some shortcomings with respect to their characterization in terms of the \(\alpha\)-levels or \(\alpha\)-cuts. To overcome these shortcomings alternative definitions are introduced. Secondly the author modifies his previously introduced notion of a fuzzy nil radical of a fuzzy ideal of a ring, by not imposing any condition on the cardinality of the image of the fuzzy ideal. Using these modified definitions fuzzy analogues of classical ring theory are obtained.
