Denote by $\mathcal{S}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ the Schwartz function space and $\mathcal{S}'(\mathbb{R}^n)$ its dual space. Let $\mu$ be a measurable function on $\mathbb{R}^n$. Then the operator $e^{i\mu(D)}$ of Fourier multipliers type is defined by, for any $f\in\mathcal{S}'(\mathbb{R}^n)$ and $x\in\mathbb{R}^n$, \[ e^{i\mu(D)}f(x):=\int_{\mathbb{R}^n}e^{2\pi ix\xi}e^{i\mu(\xi)}\hat{f}(\xi)\,d\xi. \] The authors study the boundedness of the operator $e^{i\mu(D)}$ on the modulation spaces $M^{p,q}(\mathbb{R}^n)$. More precisely, assume that the real valued function $\mu\in C^2(\mathbb{R}^n)$ satisfies $\partial^{\gamma}\mu\in W(\mathcal{F}L^1,L^{\infty})(\mathbb{R}^n)$ for any multi-index $|\gamma|=2$, where $W(\mathcal{F}L^1,L^{\infty})(\mathbb{R}^n)$ denotes the Wiener amalgam space. The authors prove that the operator $e^{i\mu(D)}$ is bounded on the modulation spaces $M^{p,q}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ for any $p,q\in[1,\infty]$. \par Moreover, assume that $\alpha\in[2,\infty)$ and the real valued function $\mu\in C^2(\mathbb{R}^n)$ satisfies \[ \langle\cdot\rangle^{2-\alpha}\partial^{\gamma}\mu\in W(\mathcal{F}L^1,L^{\infty})(\mathbb{R}^n) \] for any multi-index $|\gamma|=2$, where $\langle\cdot\rangle:=(1+|\cdot|^2)^{1/2}$. Then, the authors show that $e^{i\mu(D)}$ is bounded from the weighted modulation space $M^{p,q}_\delta(\mathbb{R}^n)$ to $M^{p,q}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ for any $\delta\in[0,\infty)$ and $p,q\in[1,\infty]$ satisfying \[ \delta\ge n(\alpha-2)\left|\frac{1}{p}-\frac12\right|. \]
