By definition, an orthogonally additive operator is completely additive if it sends every order summable family of pairwise disjoint elements to an order summable sequence and preserves the respective sums. The author studies the properties of these operators and their next of kin, including domination and extension, in the first part of the paper. The second part deals with the so-called \(C\)-compact orthogonally additive operators introduced in [\textit{M. A. Pliev} and \textit{X. C. Fang}, Sib. Math. J. 58, No. 1, 134--141 (2017; Zbl 1377.47021); translation from Sib. Mat. Zh. 58, No. 1, 174--184 (2017)]. The author works in the most abstract environment of lattice-normed spaces.
