\par Let \({\mathcal B}(X)\) be the algebra of all bounded linear operators on a complex Banach space \(X\). Let \(\sigma_T(x)\) be the local spectrum of any operator \(T\in {\mathcal B}(X)\) at any vector \(x\in X\). The local spectral subspace of any operator \(T\in {\mathcal B}(X)\) associated with a closed subset \(F\) of \(\mathbb{C}\) is defined by \[X_T(F):=\{x\in X:\sigma_T(x)\subset F\}.\] For a fixed integer \(k\geq2\), let \(i_1,...,i_m\) be a finite sequence of integers such that \(\{i_1,...,i_m\}=\{1,...,k\}\) and at least one of the terms \(i_1,...,i_m\) appears exactly once. The associated generalized product of any \(k\) operators \(T_1, ...,T_k\in{\mathcal B}(X)\) is defined by \[T_1 *\dots*T_k:=T_{i_1}....T_{i_{m}}.\] In this paper, the authors show a surjective map \(\phi\) on \({\mathcal B}(X)\) satisfies \[X_{\phi(T_1)*\dots*\phi(T_k)}(\{\lambda\})=X_{T_1*\dots*T_k}(\{\lambda\})\] for all \(T_1, ...,T_k\in{\mathcal B}(X)\) and \(\lambda\in\mathbb{C}\) if and only if \(\phi\) is the identity map on \({\mathcal B}(X)\) multiplied by an \(m\)-th root of unity.
