Radial solutions of scaling invariant nonlinear elliptic equations with mixed reaction terms (English)
The authors study properties of positive radial solutions of the equation \[-\Delta u = |u|^{p-1}u+M|\nabla u|^{\frac{2p}{p+1}}\ \text{in}\ \mathbb{R}^N\ \text{or}\ \mathbb{R}^N\setminus {0},\ p>0,\ M\in \mathbb{R}.\] The radial solutions are functions \(r\mapsto u(r)\) satisfying \[-u_{rr}-\frac{N-1}r u_r+M|u_r|^{\frac{2p}{p+1}},\ r\in (0.\infty).\] The existence and nonexistence of ground states \(r\mapsto u(r)\) as well as their singularity at \(0\) are analyzed.
