Carleman-Fourier linearization of nonlinear real dynamical systems
From MaRDI portal
The classical Carleman linearization can turn a nonlinear differential equation into a linear infinite-dimensional one in the analytic case. In this work, the authors apply the idea of this method to analytic quasi-periodic equations and obtain norm control of the trajectories for the \(N\)-th truncation of the changed infinite-dimensional one. Since the Fourier expansions lead to a block-triangular form of the infinite-dimensional coefficient matrix, more complicated computations are involved.
