In the interesting paper under review the authors solve the existence problem in the renormalized, or viscosity sense, and obtain global pointwise estimates of solutions to quasilinear and Hessian equations with measure coefficients and data, including the following model problems: \[ -\Delta _p u = \sigma u^q+\mu, \quad F_k[-u]=\sigma u^q+\mu, \quad u\geqslant 0, \] in \(\mathbb R^n\), or over a bounded domain \(\Omega \subset \mathbb R^n.\) Here \(\Delta _p\) stands for the \(p\)-Laplacian defined by \(\Delta _pu=\text{div\,}(\nabla u|\nabla u|^{p - 2}),\) and \(F_k[u]\) is the \(k\)-Hessian, i.e., the sum of the \(k\times k\) principal minors of the Hessian matrix \(D^2u\) \((k=1,2,\dots ,n),\) while \(\sigma \) and \(\mu \) are general nonnegative measurable functions (or measures) in \(\Omega.\)
