Displacement structure approach to \(q\)-adic Chebyshev-Vandermonde-like matrices (Q1020919)

The authors generalize results of the following two papers: \textit{T. Kailath} and \textit{V. Olshevsky} [Integral Equations Oper. Theory 22, No.~1, 65--92 (1995; Zbl 0824.15028)], and \textit{Z. H. Yang} and \textit{Y. J. Hu} [J. Comput. Appl. Math. 176, No.~1, 1--14 (2005; Zbl 1066.65035)]. In particular, the results of the first paper are extended to the case of any non-algebraically closed field, and those of the second paper to the case of a Chebyshev polynomial basis. The authors call such a matrix \(q\)-adic Chebyshev-Vandermonde-like, and investigate its displacement structure theory.
