The authors study the smoothing effect of the Cauchy problem for three kinetic equations. The first one is the spatially homogeneous nonlinear Landau equation with Maxwellian molecules \[ f_t=Q(f,f),\nu \in\mathbb{R}^d,t>0,\;f|_{t=0}=f_0. \] They prove that for \(f_0\) in a certain weighted function space, for any \(t>0\) we have \(f(t,\cdot)\in{\mathcal A}^{1/2}(\mathbb{R}^d)\) (space of ultra-analytic functions). The second one is the inhomogeneous linear Fokker-Planck equation \[ f_\pm+\nu\cdot \nabla_nf=\nabla_\nu\cdot(\nabla_\nu f+\nu f),(x,\nu)\in\mathbb{R}^{2d}, t>0,\quad f|_{t=0}=f_0. \] Similar to the first equation, we have the following ultra-analytic effect: for \(f_0\) in a weighted function space such any \(t>0\), \(f(t, \cdot,\cdot)\in{\mathcal A}^{1/2}(\mathbb{R}^{2d})\). Finally, the third equation considered is a linearized (around the normalized Maxwellian distribution \(\mu (\nu)=(2\pi)^{-d/2}e^{-|\nu|^2/2)})\) version of spatially inhomogeneous Landau equation \[ g_t+\nu\cdot \nabla_xg=Q(\mu,g),(x,\nu)\in\mathbb{R}^{2d},\;t>0,\;g|_{x=0} =g_0. \] In this case, for \(g_0\) in a weighted function space and any \(t>a\), we have \(g(t,\cdot,\cdot)\in{\mathcal A}^1(\mathbb{R}^{2d})\) (space of analytic functions).
