This paper continues the investigations of the author on genetical ESS (evolutionary stable strategy)-models for sexual populations. For definitions and general concepts see part I reviewed above, Zbl 0512.92009. Starting from a multi-strategy ESS-model at the phenotypic level which is genetically based on a single locus with multiple alleles in a panmictic population, a corresponding genetical ESS-model at the gene pool level is constructed. Given an ESS of the phenotypic model, the fundamental question is considered whether the sexually reproducing population will evolve according to that ESS. It is shown that this is true for equilibrium strategies (EQS) and - under certain technical conditions - also holds for ESSs, provided that these strategies can be produced by a gene pool of some state. On the other hand there may exist ESSs in the genetical model which do not correspond to phenotypic ESSs. But they may be affected by mutant alleles and may be replaced by a gene pool that does allow a phenotypic ESS to be established.
