Precise spectral asymptotics for elliptic operators on manifolds with boundary (Q1106408)

The author states the exact spectral asymptotics of the eigenvalues for elliptic operators of order 2m in vector bundles over a compact manifold X with the border Y; on Y are given the normal boundary conditions. Under certain conditions the second term of the asymptotics is also given. Similar results for the first and second order operators were obtained formerly in the author's book [``Precise spectral asymptotics for elliptic operators acting in fiberings over manifolds with boundary'', Lect. Notes Math. 1100 (1984; Zbl 0565.35002)]. The methods and results of this book are used in this paper.
