The author studies the stabilization of a control system \(x'= \sum^m_{i=1} f_i(x)u_i\) through (possibly discontinuous) feedback. The construction of this feedback law is based on discrete processes related to the minimization of a (possibly nondifferentiable) cost. Effectiveness and generality of this procedure are confirmed by examples and computer simulations presented at the end of the paper.
