The article describes a solution to the problem of quantifying into intensional contexts, applying the machinery of \textit{P. Tichy}'s ``transparent intensional logic'' [The foundations of Frege's logic (1988; Zbl 0671.03001)]. Essentially, quantifiers of this kind are interpreted as ranging over individual concepts of a certain kind. The paper does not discuss a standard problem with this kind of approach, namely, how to understand sentences such as `There is someone who is not a spy, but whom John believes to be so', where the quantification is into intensional and extensional contexts simultaneously.
