The author is concerned with integrable modules of affine Kac-Moody algebras that are of neither highest nor lowest weight. More precisely, let \(V\) be the natural represntation of \(\mathfrak{sl}_{l+1}\). Then there exists a class of simple admissible integrable submodules of loop modules of \(\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}_{l+1}}\) denoted \(L(V,m)^n\). These are cyclic modules of level zero and their characters are known [\textit{J. Greenstein}, Algebr. Represent. Theory 6, No. 2, 119--137 (2003; Zbl 1058.17013)]. The author constructs a (perfect, normal) crystal \({B_l(m)}^n\) whose affinization \(\widehat{B_l(m)}^n\) has formal character equal to that of \(L(V,m)^n\). Next, he shows that \(\widehat{B_l(m)}^n\) is isomorphic to an explicitly-described subcrystal of Littelmann's path crystal. The author also determines the decomposition of the tensor product of \(\widehat{B_l(m)}^n\) with a highest weight crystal via the above isomorphism with path crystals.
